McDonald's has launched its new McValue menu at its restaurants across the US.

The platform, announced in November 2024, offers more flexibility and variety with with options such as the Buy-One-Add-One-For-$1 Deal and the $5 Meal Deal.

It also extends digital deals through the McDonald's app, including free medium fries with a $1 purchase every Friday throughout 2025 and a complimentary McCrispy chicken sandwich for new users of the app.

Local franchisees are enhancing these deals with community-specific offers on items such as the McGriddle and app-exclusive discounts such as a 20% off $10 or more spend.

Franchise owners have shared their preferred pairings for the Buy-One-Add-One-For-$1 offer.

Franchise owner Nick Valluzzo from Birmingham favours two Double Cheeseburgers, Stephen Patula from Columbus recommends two McChickens and Matt Dodd in Louisville highlights his top three breakfast items.

To promote the McValue launch, McDonald's has partnered with actor and professional wrestler John Cena who will feature on McDonald's social channels demonstrating how he maximises the value of his favourite combo: a Sausage McMuffin and Hash Browns.

Cena said: “I always talk about ‘earning my sunset’ and there’s nothing like heading to McDonald’s after completely crushing your day.

“I’ll admit – it's tough to choose between some of my favourites sometimes, but now I don’t have to. The fact that fans can mix and match with the new McValue menu to get great deals on the food they love is going to be an absolute game-changer.”

In celebration of McValue's new platform debut, McDonald's is teaming up with 16 brands to offer $3m in promotional offers in early 2025.
